Sahayagiri Health Care Society initiated various activities for uplifting the socioeconomic status of the tribal people in Idukki district.The society provides awareness generation programmes,vocational trainings,income generation activities,medical camps, small saving schemes etc. for the welfare of the tribal community.
It is our long cherished wish that women attain independent status with men in all respects and thus become the primary agents of their development and that of the community to which they belong.We aimed to bring about the social and economic betterment of women through collective activities.
